This Week

Had an awful lot of fun talking with our News @5 guests this week.

Toy Guy Chris Bryne showed us some of this year’s hot toys.  Writer David Baldacci told us about his new thriller The Forgotten.  Cookbook author JoAnne Weir showed us some great looking (and great tasting, I’ll bet) party food for the holiday season.  Project Runway’s Mondo Guerra talked about World AIDS Day tomorrow.  The Forever Plaid guys did a number from “Plaid Tidings” currently at the Firehall Theatre in Grand Forks.

No offense to the others, but our “funest” guest this week had to be comedian Brian Posehn.  “Funest” is Brian’s word, not mine.  And he’s a writer.  Brian has appeared on “The Sarah Silverman Program,” “Seinfeld,” “Everybody Loves Raymond” and tons of others.  I hate to blow his cover as a wild guy, but he strikes me as a nice, down-to-earth man.  He is rather tall, however.

Brian was at the Empire Arts Center in Grand Forks last night and he and a couple of his friends will be performing at the Fargo Theater tonight.  Go see him.
