I don’t mind saying it. We get the coolest guests on WDAZ News @5.
For starters this week, there was John Schneider of Dukes of Hazzard fame, charming as ever. He told us all about the film October Baby he’s a part of, out on Blu-Ray this week. I suspect he might be one of the nicer people in show business.
Mitch Albom talked with us yesterday about his new book The Time Keeper and about his work with an orphanage he has rebuilt and run for the past couple of years. I didn’t realize until this week that Tuesdays with Morrie is the best-selling memoir of all time. In my dreams I’m as cool as he is. (Then I wake up.)
It was a hoot talking with….. the co-founders of Georgetown Cupcakes and the reality televisions stars of DC Cupcakes.
Dr. Xenofon Papadopoulos talked with us about Altru’s Prostate Cancer Screening event on Thursday, September 20, at the Altru Cancer Center in Grand Forks. Dr. Papadopoulos also happens to my urologist. I’ve always said he knows more about me below the waist than I know about myself.
Wouldn’t trade jobs with anyone. Not even for a $25,000 raise.
