Billy Bob and Cat Daddy

Had a couple very interesting television conversations this week on WDAZ News @5.

Wednesday we talked with Oscar winner Billy Bob Thornton.  (It doesn’t get much better.)

His new memoir The Billy Bob Tapes: A Cave Full of Ghosts was published this week, complete with forward by Angelina Jolie.  To the surprise of many she has some very nice things to say about him.

I’ve been a Billy Bob Thornton fan since Evening Shade, a CBS series that starred Burt Reynolds. I believe it was the first thing Billy Bob ever did on screen and he stole every scene he was in. I remember thinking, who is this guy? We found out.

Billy Bob seems oddly normal these days.  With a smile on this face he talks about his phobias to silverware and antique furniture (especially Louis XIV chairs).

To me, he is simply one of the most interesting people on the planet.  I’ll be reading his book.

Thursday at 5 we talked with rock musician turned cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy about his new book Cat Daddy and his Animal Planet series My Cat From Hell. They don’t know it yet but I’m going to make our cats read the book.  (They watch the TV show already.)
