Terribly, terribly sad this evening as I have been all day. Ever since I learned that Bobby Vee has been diagnosed as being in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease. Some news is just too heartbreaking .
In my experience, Alzheimer’s takes the smartest, funniest, most creative people first. I hate it with every fiber of my being.
Anyone who knows me well, knows I’ve been a lifelong fan of Bobby’s. Why not?
I’m not sure he had a enemy in the world, and that’s saying something considering the business he was in. If you don’t know Bobby Vee, Google him.

Thank you for your website and blog. I was devastated when I heard the news about Bobby Vee. Bobby is a terrific talent and a great human being.
I learned about the Alzheimer’s diagnosis (and about your web site), when I did a search on YouTube for a Bobby Vee song “Walking With My Angel”. That song holds special memories for me, and I had been having trouble finding the song online.
My thoughts and prayers are with Bobby and his family.
