At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we had more great guests on WDAZ News @5 this week.
Jim Belushi talked with us Monday. He says he’s been busy making two new movies opening next year. Earlier this year he knocked them dead on Broadway in Born Yesterday. He seems like a genuinely nice guy. If he isn’t, I don’t want to know about it.
Wednesday we talked with writer Christopher Poalini, the author of the Inheritance cycle. The latest of the fantasy books, released this week, had a prepublication first printing of 2.5 million copies. Christopher must be all of twenty years old by now. I have ties older than that, as Milton Berle (or somebody) used to say.
We also chatted with Pam Anderson. Not THAT Pam Anderson! Chef Pam Anderson. She showed us some of the dishes from her Cook Without a Book cookbook.
All this and–yes–Greg Rixen, too.
