The Valley’s Got Talent

I’ve been asked to be one of the judges for a new event this year called “The Valley’s Got Talent” benefit show. Something like Simon, Randy and Paula, I guess. It’s being sponsored by the Grand Forks Exchange Club. The show will be December 4 at the Empire Arts Center in Grand forks.

But–and here’s the important part right now–auditions will be held November 6 at the Empire from 2:30 to 5 p.m. All ages are welcome. To schedule an audition before the November 2 deadline, call (701) 780-9607 or e-mail gfexchangeclub@gmail.com. Or you can post your audition on YouTube and e-mail the link to gfexchangeclub@gmail.com.  (Somewhat high tech.)

Somebody is going to win the first price of five hundred bucks. Second price is two hundred fifty bucks. Third prize is a hundred bucks.

Having been honing my new-found harmonica skills, I’d audition, but judges are not eligible.
