The Grand Forks County Historical Society Annual Ice Cream Social will be held on Sunday July 10, 2011 on the grounds of the museum at 2405 Belmont Road in Grand Forks.
To encourage families to attend, a family ticket is available for $10. Individual tickets are $5.
Hugos and Cass Clay have teamed up to provide the cake and ice cream, plus included in the cost of the ticket is FREE ADMISSION to all the historic buildings on the grounds. Hours are 1 to 4Â pm with special entertainment by Jazz on Tap and a special performance from 2 – 3 pm by the Summer Performing Arts program featuring excerpts from the upcoming production of Sweeney Todd.
There also will be some special surprise guests roaming the museum grounds. Grand Forks County Historical Society board members will also be on hand to demonstrate old-
fashioned hand-churned ice cream making.
