The event, presented by the City of Grand Forks, the Greater Grand Forks Convention & Visitors Bureau and Canad Inns Destination Center, is in its fourth year.Â Canad Inns is hosting the beer garden and a barbecue food vending area.Â The music will get rolling at 6 p.m. and last until 10 p.m., and admission is free to all.Â Lawn chairs welcome!
The first Blues on the Red was held August 9, 2008, with well over 600 people convening in Town Square.Â
The local planning committee consists of Cheri Reitmeier, Town Square Farmerâ€™s Market and Canad Inns; Greg Hoover, Urban Development; Brad Gengler, City of Grand Forks; and Julie Rygg, Deb Stewart and James Feist, all of the CVB.Â Â
