Losing Casey

Sad to report we’re losing Casey Wonneberg, WDAZ and (more selfishly) me.  After thirteen years as a solo anchor @5, since February, Casey and I have been co-producing and co-anchoring WDAZ News @5 together.

Casey is leaving us to report for KELO-TV in Sioux Falls.  Our lose is their gain, to be sure.  The move will  make her husband Dave’s work as a pilot easier.  And, Casey will be closer to her family (whom she is very close to) in South Dakota.

I’ll miss Casey terribly.  We all will. She was the first co-producer and co-anchor of WDAZ News @5, and she’s been a good one.  We’ve only worked together on the five for a few weeks, but she’s made my life easier and we’ve had a lot of fun together.

It’s very hard to see people leave.  (I’ve seen more than my share go in my time at WDAZ.)  We all wish Casey and Dave the very, very best.  They deserve it.

Casey will be missed. She has been a real pro, both as a reporter and an anchor.
    An outstanding newscaster.

I heard you had DIY on with you one day. I did not see it but my friend did. We have had to move off the lake twice because of our water problem in Devils Lake and she thought we should try get DIY to do our yard. We are over 60 now and have done this yard already twice. We have kind of lost our inthusism for the project. We are very creative people; we are just getting older. I have tried to find the info, but haven’t had any luck. Can you help me?
