Screen Test

Please indulge me when I say that after seeing my doctor yesterday, I am happy to report I’m cancer free now for nine months.  My doctor being Dr. Xenofon Papadopoulos.  I call him Xeno the Greek.  Not to his face, of course.  He’s been working out!

Which leads me to the main point.  Next week in observation of National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in September, Altru Health System is hosting free prostate cancer screenings Wednesday and Thursday nights (September 22 & 23) at the Altru Cancer Center.

If you’re a guy 50 or over (or 40 or over with a family history of prostate cancer) you need to get you butt over there between 6 and 8 pm each evening.  Don’t be a wuss.

There’s a simple blood test you can get, the best method available for detecting prostate cancer early.  So, do what I say!
