Emerado is celebrating its first 125 years Saturday with a bunch of activities. One of them is a parade Saturday morning. I’ll be a part of it.
I’ve been "in" parades before. But until now I’ve never emceed one. Once, I was invited to emcee a "celebrity" parade of some sort at a media event at Disney’s California Adventure, but I declined because of lack of experience. I wasn’t able to weasel out of Emerado’s quite so easily.
Anywho, the parade starts at 11 o’clock on Main Street and it should be a lot of fun. Come join us. And don’t shoot me, I’m only the emcee.
