Parade Day

Couldn’t have enjoyed Grand Marshalling today’s St. Patrick’s parade in Grand Forks more if I tried. We started at Widman’s Candy, where George continues to celebrate his 90th birthday, and ended at Kelly’s bar. How appropriate.  If anyone has pictures, e-mail them to me at and I’ll post them here.

During the parade, Pat McClean’s (approximately) twelve inch, green bow tie caught my eye.  I suspect he really is Irish. Big Dog Pat Mars and his better half had their big dogz out for the parade.  I enjoyed seeing them.  (The Mars, too.)

The Masons hosted the parade once again this year and once again had a great turn-out of parade watchers and participants.  Thanks, Bill Steckler, for the invitation.
