Recovery Reading

As I said in an earlier post, I know for sure now I couldn’t live without books.  One of the few luxuries I’ve had in the past few days–what with surgery and all–has been time to read.  (I haven’t felt like doing much else.)

Here’s a couple of books from my recovery reading list.

“I cannot live without books” I am with you! My favorite cartoon which rides on the refrigerator door each time I open it has a picture of a child sitting in front of an empty computer monitor, reading a book through that open space! Books will live on even though some computer gurus have said that computer will replace reading books. Bah Humbug!
I wish you a total recovery from both the surgery and the cancer. Here’s to a long and joyful life!

    B. Bah Humbug! and Amen. They’ll have to take my book out of my cold, lifeless hands–to paraphrase.
