Remembering Mitch

The late Mitch Hedberg is going to be honored with a golf tournament next month in Oakdale, Minnesota.  If there’s a joke in there somewhere, the Minnesota-born comedian would have found it.

Joking aside, proceeds will benefit Minnesota Teen (and Adult) Challenge, one of the largest residential drug, alcohol and substance abuse programs in Minnesota.

Mitch was a big star in the comedy world, becoming even bigger when he died.  He was a favorite of David Letterman.  He appeared in Grand Forks often.  He was a good friend of WDAZ News @5.

I remember I was watching your show and Mitch gently socked you on the shoulder. They say memory is the second thing to go.
