Looking forward to the Great American Block Party this weekend in Thief River Falls. Dave Schwab, Ernie the Angler (yes, that Ernie the Angler) and I will be there to judge the Community BBQ Ribs Cook-Off Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at LaFave Park. You can vote, too, for the People’s Choice Award.
This could be trouble! You’ll want to be there.
People will participate in the cook-off on behalf of a non-profit group of their choice. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to those groups. A freewill offering will be accepted at the gate with the proceeds to benefit the Michael Holmer Memorial Scholarship through the Thief River Falls Education Foundation.
