Welcome

Life is funny sometimes.  I’m not sure I knew what a blog was a year ago.  Today I am one.

As we approach the 500th edition of The Dullum File on television in a couple of weeks, I look forward to this new form of communication.  We started The Dullum File something like ten years ago not knowing what to expect from it, or what we were doing with it for that matter.  It took a while, but eventually I became more closely associated with it than anything else I’ve done in more than three decades in television.

We’ve had more fun than anyone should be allowed to have at work skewering celebrities like Ashlee Simpson, Martha Stewart and Michael Jackson, talking to people "on the street" and generally being silly.

I hope we can provide some interesting entertainment here too.  I ask that you help me in a couple of ways.  First, by being patient as we get started with it.  Second, by adding your comments.  Otherwise, it could be a little lonely around here.

Glad to have you on AreaVoices Terry — Jon Stewart or Ali G have nothing on you…you are the original funny interviewer!

Thanks, C. This blogging thing is good for my ego, so far. Ali G is terrific, but there is no one funnier (or smarter) on television right now than Jon Stewart. I try to get the bulk of my news from The Daily Show.

I’m glad you got a blog, Terry! You’ve made me laugh many times with your installments of The Dullum File. I look forward to checking out your blog on a regular basis.
