Bob Zany

It’s always fun to have Bob Zany be a part of the Dullum File.  He is one of the funniest and most underrated comedians in the country.  For five years in a row, he has co-hosted the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon.  He appeared in the movie "Joe Dirt" with David Spade and on television in "The Drew Carey Show" and "Roseanne" and on and on.  The Zany Report is heard weekly on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Show and on KJ108 in Grand Forks.  Amazingly, he tours the country 45 weeks a year.  You should run–not walk–to see him perform live if you get the chance.

Three years ago we asked him to do some stand-up for a classroom full of pre-schoolers for the Dullum File, which turned out to be hilarious.  Two years ago he worked as a greeter at the Home of Economy in Grand Forks, camera rolling.  This week, Bob works as a bagger at one of the Hugo’s grocery stores in Grand Forks.

I have caught Bob Zany on “The Bob & Tom” radio show many times, and I think that he is hilarious!

You’re right, Paulee, he is hilarious. What a lot of people don’t now is that, despite his Don Rickles-like persona, he is one of the nicest, most genuine people I’ve ever met in show business, or anywhere else.
